While she was crying…

It’s now 8:30 pm and Sarah’s not sleeping… Sleep has always been an issue, but she managed to sleep on her own through the night for like 2 months.

I can’t ear her cry, it breaks my heart – I just can’t… Hubby’s with her, sitting next to her just for her to feel she’s not alone.

Well I can honestly say that I read allllllll about sleep and sleep training, everything.

  1. Let her cry: checked, tried for 5 minutes – can’t do it
  2. Let her cry while I seat next to her and telling her I’m there: Checked, tried for 3 hours in the middle of the night. She slept through the night the following day… just for one night
  3. Took her into her bed: checked, she slept with us for months actually. I like it, but not an option. She’s still in our room anyway
  4. Gently but firmly: there, here we go. we’re with her, we don’t want her to feel unsecured. She can sleep on her own but she wakes up and can’t go back to sleep

She sleeps fine during the day, most of time. She’s on a daily routine and knows what to expect and when. She’s not over tired because I know the signs… Why the hell isn’t she sleeping on her own again???
